Overview
This evidence-based course, recorded at the 2024 AADSM Annual Meeting, explores various aspects of pediatric sleep-disordered breathing and its intricate relationship with craniofacial development and sleep apnea.
Objectives
At the conclusion of the course, attendees will be able to:
Explore pediatric sleep-disordered breathing, its connection to craniofacial development, and emphasize early identification's importance;
Highlight dental and myofunctional therapy interventions for pediatric OSA linked to craniofacial development; and
Address and provoke discussion on diagnosing and treating pediatric OSA to deepen understanding in this complex field.
Target Audience
Dental sleep medicine practitioners who want to provide optimal care for pediatric patients.
