Overview
This lecture will review the benefits of telemedicine, the role that staff plays, and some tips and tricks to help you and your patient have a successful virtual visit.
Objectives
Upon completion of the lecture, participants will be able to:
  1. Understand the benefits of telehealth;
  2. Have an understanding of available platforms and equipment; and
  3. Discuss staff roles, documentation and helpful tips for a successful telehealth visit.

Dentists and team members treating patients with oral appliance therapy for sleep-related breathing disorders.
Speaker Bio


Michelle Cantwell, DMD, is a graduate of Wilkes University and the University of Pittsburgh, School of Dental Medicine. Following graduation she completed a three-year residency in prosthodontics and served on active duty service as a Lieutenant Commander in the US Navy. She became a Diplomate of the ABDSM in 2014. In 2018, she merged her dental sleep medicine practice into the Pulmonary & Sleep Medicine Department of Wellspan Hospital. She currently lives in Lancaster, PA with her husband Steve and their daughters.
