Speaker Bio
Scott Craig has over 20 years of experience as an entrepreneur in the medical equipment, service and supply industries. He is a recipient of the American Academy of Dental Sleep Medicine’s (AADSM) 2014 Clinical Research Award and a member of the Illinois Sleep Society. Scott has served as CEO of Midwest Dental Sleep Center (MDSC) since 2007. Under his leadership, MDSC has become one of the largest and most respected dental sleep medicine clinics in the country. The center has five diplomates of the American Board of Dental Sleep Medicine on staff with five locations serving the Chicago-land area. MDSC is one of a handful of multi-center clinics in the world focused exclusively on providing dental sleep medicine services to patients suffering from sleep-related breathing disorders.

Erica Johannes, DDS is the founder of Dental Sleep Doc, a dental practice dedicated to treating obstructive sleep apnea, snoring and TMJ. After experiencing the effects of sleep apnea first-hand with her children and other family members, she began intensely studying obstructive sleep apnea and how it can be treated. Because it is so personal to her, Dr. Johannes is passionate about helping her patients sleep and breathe better. She strives to help people feel great, while living longer and healthier lives. Born and raised in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, Dr. Johannes attended the University of Wisconsin and graduated with an honors degree in Molecular Biology. She earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree in 2006 from Marquette University. After practicing general dentistry for 11 years in both Wisconsin and South Carolina, she limited her practice to dental sleep medicine in 2017. Dr. Johannes lives in Lexington with her 2 children, Benjamin and Emelia. She enjoys reading, traveling, cheering on her beloved Wisconsin Badgers, and having fun with her family.

Rosemarie Rohatgi, DMD, currently serves as a Board of Director with the AADSM and is a Diplomate of the ABDSM. Dr. Rohatgi was featured on the cover of the magazine, Sleep Review, in 2018. She has authored several research papers in the Journal of Dental Sleep Medicine (JDSM). Dr. Rohatgi has been practicing for over twenty-five years and dedicates her entire practice to Dental Sleep Medicine, as the Founder and owner of San Diego Sleep Therapy. Dr. Rohatgi enjoys spending quality time with her husband and two young children. She has a strong affinity for mid century interior design, remodeling homes, international travel, and piano.

Alex Vaughan, DDS is a board certified Orofacial Pain specialist and co-founder of Virginia Total Sleep in Richmond Virginia. Having started his dental career in the front office, he was “insurance minded” from the beginning. Seeing the urgent need for dental sleep medicine and orofacial pain services, he co-founded his practice with Dr. Michael Pagano on the foundation of medical billing and cutting-edge technology. By combining electronic medical records and his billing expertise, Virginia Total Sleep has reduced patient costs by 90% all while maximizing revenue and case acceptance rate.
