Overview
Dr. Masse has invited 10 prominent experts from the fields of Sleep Medicine and Dental Sleep Medicine to share a recent paper (published between 2023-2024) that they have found noteworthy. Dr. Masse will do a thorough review and commentary of each paper. Following the presentations, there will be a discussion to delve deeper into the topics presented.
Objectives
At the conclusion of this webinar, participants will be able to: 
  1. Review some of the most interesting DSM and sleep papers published within the last 12 months; and
  2. Engage in discussions to assess and evaluate the findings and implications of these papers.
Target Audience
Dentists screening or treating patients with sleep-related breathing disorders.
Speaker Bio
Jean-Francois Masse, DMD graduated from Université Laval in 1990. Following a general practice residency, he pursued two Master's degrees, one in Dental Science and one in Epidemiology, with a focus on sleep apnea. In addition to his work in general practice, he holds a position on the staff at the Institut universitaire de cardiologie et de pneumologie de Québec, which is one of the primary sleep centers in Canada. He also instructs on sleep appliance therapy at Université Laval's Faculty of Dentistry. Furthermore, he has served on the Board of Directors of the American Board of Dental Sleep Medicine and currently holds the role of Editor-in-Chief of the Journal of Dental Sleep Medicine.
