Overview

Patients being treated with oral appliance therapy (OAT) are much more likely to be comfortable and compliant with a well-fitted appliance. This video demonstrates a simple, two-step techniques for obtaining accurate impressions for laboratory fabrication of an oral appliance.

Speaker Bio

Dr. David Schwartz is the current President of the AADSM. He started his general restorative dental practice in the Chicago area in 1988. He is a graduate of Indiana University and the University of Illinois College of Dentistry. Although he enjoys practicing many fields of dentistry, he has had a focus in dental sleep medicine for the last 22 years. He started the dental component of and is currently director of dental sleep medicine at The Center for Sleep Medicine in the Chicagoland area locations.

Dr. Schwartz has been a member of the AADSM since 1998 and is a Diplomate of the American Board of Dental Sleep Medicine. He brings a wealth of experience to the dental sleep community, has educated dentists around the world on the benefits of dental sleep medicine and has served on several AADSM committees and task forces over the years.
