Overview

A 2017 JDSM article reporting on management of oral appliance therapy side effects suggests the use of a method or device to reposition the mandible into its habitual pretreatment position. This video demonstrates a technique for chairside fabrication of an occlusal guide, using thermoplastic material, that provides an index of a patient’s pretreatment bite.

Speaker Bio

Dr. Ari Wulfsohn graduated from Midwestern University College of Dental Medicine and has been practicing dentistry in the Chicagoland area since 2016. She went on to develop her career in dental sleep medicine, earning Diplomate status through the American Board Of Dental Sleep Medicine in 2019. When Dr. Wulfsohn is not practicing dentistry, she enjoys traveling, painting, and spending time with her family.
